Our Beliefs

We in the McCall Community Congregational Church acknowledge as our sole head, Jesus Christ, Son of God and Savior. We welcome and acknowledge as kindred spirits in Christ all who share in this confession. We as a church family look to the word of God in scriptures, and to the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to enable us to reach out with our gospel message to teach and preach as God calls us to do in our world. We are a heritage and historic church; we celebrated our 100th birthday in 2012. We honor the faith of the historic church expressed in the ancient creeds and reclaimed in the basic insights of the Protestant reformers.

We affirm the responsibility of the church in each generation to make this our faith, our own reality of worship, in honesty of thought and expression and purity of heart before God. In accordance with the teachings of our Lord, we recognize our two sacraments…baptism and the Lord’s Supper of Holy Communion.

We invite any and all to come and join us for worship…for we believe with our heart and soul that the words…” No matter who you are…or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here!”

Our Pastor’s Sunday messages are both Biblically based and reflect a nurturing spiritual message which inspires us to spread the word of Christ’s boundless love.

  • We have a treasured tradition of leaving politics at the door upon entering the church.
  • Community outreach is central to our ministry and congregational involvement.
  • We are the church of music in our community which continues under the direction of Tyler Vance.
  • We are committed to building spiritual growth and discipleship through bible studies and teaching.

We look forward to growing our youth and young family population within our aging congregation.
